Lawn Fertilizer
Fertilizing is a lawn care practice to help in the growth and development of the roots and grass blades. Proper ingredients, proper amounts and proper timing are essential in the success of your lawn care program. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) are the three major nutrients needed by lawns and can be found in the front of every fertilizer bag. The amount needed depends of your grass type, the University of Illinois provide some useful information regarding fertilizer amounts. In general about 3 pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 square feet is needed for most lawns in the Midwest.

We offer a 6 step lawn care fertilizer program to keep your lawn looking healthy and weed free all season long. Our program includes 6 fertilizer applications with free weed control if needed on every application. If included in your plan, a preventive grub control application is added in early summer to prevent grub infestation.
Our slow release granular fertilizer applications provide nutrients to your lawn for longer periods of time. Our liquid weed control applications provide better coverage than any other granular or dry applications, that is because herbicides have to be soaked into plants via their foliage.
Looking for one time applications?
We also offer one time fertilizer and weed control applications for those that do not wish to have a full season maintenance program. Just Order online and we will add your property to our schedule for one time application that comes with a 30 day guarantee!
Why liquid weed control?
Liquid weed control sprays are more successful than dry/ granular applications. That is because active ingredients in herbicides have to be soaked into plans via their foliage.

This high potassium and slow release fertilizer formula improves drought tolerance, heat and disease resistance. Liquid weed control is applied if needed.
Early fall application – Fertilizer and weed control
This fall slow release fertilizer application with iron will improve turf color and density. Spot weed control if needed.
